A big congratulation this week for everyone who competed in the Kaniere School athletics. It was a fun day with everyone giving it a go and trying their best!!
Also congratulations to this weeks certificate winners who were awarded for showing the school values. Ka pai!

Well done Ruma Weka! We had our Athletics Day last Friday. It was very hot in Gisborne that day. We do sprint racing, relays and tabloid sports where we do lots of fun activities and rotate around them! We also got to have a sausage sizzle and an ice block on the day too! We think Athletics Days are lots of fun too!

Wow that sounds fantastic and exciting! Our favourite part was the running races. We had to do our athletics very fast because then we walked to the theatre to watch the Lion King Production. There were heaps of people there and some of the people from our school were in the show!
